She also enjoys treating children of all ages, including her own when they let her.

Melinda is a Registered Acupuncturist & Chinese Herbalist (Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner).

Melinda has been studying and practising Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since 2005. She has practised in several multidisciplinary clinics across Sydney, including The Acupuncture Pregnancy & IVF Support Clinic for 10 years (2009-2019), under the guidance of the very knowledgeable founder Jane Lyttleton, and was also part of Paradigm Medical Collective (2019-2022) led by Dr Paulette Maroun (Gynaecologist & Laparoscopic surgeon); and the team of very experienced TCM practitioners at Yolk Acupuncture in Bondi (2019-2022). More recently she has been practising with the highly experienced team of Allied Health practitioners at CBD Health Sydney (2022-2023). She currently practices in her private clinic in Redfern.

Melinda taught TCM undergraduates at the University of Technology Sydney for several years, and mentors students in her clinic.

Melinda’s journey into Chinese Medicine has been the culmination of a diverse array of life experiences. After studying Psychology, travelling the globe, working in the corporate world as a senior business analyst, acquiring her Reiki Masters, studying massage, discovering yoga, then moving into the not-for-profit world of Outward Bound Australia she not only ‘found herself’ but found Traditional Chinese Medicine. She read an article on Acupuncture and Chinese medical theory and had one of those ‘light bulb’ moments and after her own life-changing experience with TCM she was hooked!

Cassie is an AHPRA registered Chinese Medicine practitioner offering thoughtful, heart-centred care for women and AFAB individuals. She translates Traditional Chinese Medicine into practical guidance that helps patients understand, trust, and feel more in tune with their bodies. Treatments are highly personalised, shaped by each person's story, health goals, and individual needs.

With a warm, down-to-earth approach, Cassie creates a safe space for patients to soften and feel fully supported. She provides a holistic perspective on health by addressing underlying imbalances so patients can return to a natural state - healthy, vibrant, and at ease.

Cassie has a clinical focus on hormone health, digestive health, and emotional wellbeing. She supports patients through all stages of life - from menstrual health and fertility (including IVF), to pregnancy, postpartum, and peri/menopause - working collaboratively with their broader healthcare team to ensure cohesive, considered care.

Classically trained in acupuncture and grounded in lineage based Chinese herbal medicine, Cassie's approach is informed by the teachings of her mentor, Steven Clavey. She practices with integrity, empathy, and a deep respect for each individual’s experience.

Cassie is an advocate, a guide and a steady presence, supporting patients as they reconnect with their body, its subtleties, and their authentic sense of self.
